WITH DR LORIN ROCHE AND CAMILLE MAURINE
Come immerse yourself in the luminous world of The Radiance Sutras, a fresh translation of a classic yoga meditation text. In this tradition, meditation is innate, natural, and playful. The Sutras present 112 ways to touch the sacred in the midst of everyday life – gazing at nature, cherishing breath, listening to music, bathing in silence, dancing, chanting, drumming, savoring food with intense awareness, and loving and praying continuously. The Radiance Sutras sing of passionate serenity, in which all your senses are alive to the vibrancy of the world, with a foundation of inner centeredness.
In this approach, meditation is a release into freedom. People who live in the world and have relationships and jobs, need meditation to feel like a vacation, healing and restful and rejuvenating. When you find the style that suits your nature, meditation feels like the most natural thing in the world. Human beings are very individual, and what works for us in meditation is individual. In this workshop you will learn how to customize practices to suit your nature, so that you can develop a richly rewarding meditation practice at home.
During the workshop you will have an opportunity to explore different meditation techniques, discover what you love, and develop the practices that work the best for you. In this approach, you follow your love, wonder, and delight, and the reward is deep inner rejuvenation.
You don’t have to be good or virtuous to practice these methods. The Sutras encourage you to meet yourself wherever you are – restless, lonely, loving, tired, excited, nostalgic, or quiet. The emphasis is on naturalness, spontaneity, and being at home in the universe. All levels of experience are welcome.
