Michael McDowall

Yoga and meditation have been part of my life for nearly 20 years. I offer yoga classes, restorative workshops (including Bowen Therapy and Reiki treatments) and, of course, readings from The Radiance Sutras. I completed 350 hours Yoga teacher training in 2011, and have been studying with Lorin and Camille since 2016.

Michael lives in Queensland, Australia, and leads weekly Saturday live classes with Nancy and Sunday practice sessions for our 200-hour RSMTT.

Nancy Wang Gaeden, C-IAYT

Nancy started exploring meditation over 30 years ago, including 5 years practicing as a Buddhist nun, and is now a full time yoga therapist and Instinctive Meditation teacher.  Nancy specializes in guiding gentle yoga as a form of meditation-in-motion, working privately with clients, as well as chronic pain and cancer care clinics to support patients in need. As a meditation teacher, Nancy is experienced in both monastic and contemporary approaches and she is passionate about teaching inner freedom in the art of meditation. Nancy has been studying with Lorin and Camille since 2016 and guides study groups as well as special workshops for 200hr RSMTT.

Nancy lives in Sonoma County, California where she teaches, makes pottery, and raises chickens. Nancy will co-facilitate our Weekly Saturday Live classes with Michael.

Kyle Schauenberg

I came to teach yoga and meditation out of sheer necessity. I had tried everything I could get my hands on to try to heal or cope with my anxiety and depression. When I became a mom, the need became vital and I was inexplicably pulled to yoga. The right teachers for me dropped in and instinctive meditation became my medicine.

Since 2012, I have been learning to meditate with Lorin and Camille. Between my work with them and my other yoga trainings, I have studied in 14 different group meditation teacher immersions. Beyond that, my indulgent form of study is mentorship. I have worked one-on-one with Lorin since 2014.

As a meditation coach and yoga instructor, I have worked in Connecticut, Chicago and Italy. Currently, I have a space in Sarasota, Florida, where I see clients in the same mentorship capacity through which I have deepened my own practice. I also volunteer with nonprofit groups offering meditation to their staff.

I relish the chance to support meditators in listening to themselves lovingly and honestly. And I am completely fascinated by the ways we learn to take care of ourselves, heal and unfurl.
